Christian theology in asiaI have come across an interesting book through a Malasian New Testament lecturer blogging from here. The book is called "Christian Theology in Asia.

Questions explored include: "What is distinctive about the historical development of Asian theologies?" and "How have Asian theologies contributed to contemporary theological discussions within world Christianity?"

An excerpt from the introduction is also available here.

  1. Hey Matt,
That’s a picture of my culture in front of that book! What an interesting find!
How will I ever be able to keep up with all this information I find so fascinating? My brain’s already about to explode. (Not that I’m complaining, mind you…) 😉

  2. Not that I’m keeping up with everything either! The more I find the more I find there’s more to find. So, do you have a favourite Asian Christian artist or artwork?

  3. That is so true. 🙂 Hmmm… favorite Asian Christian artist… no, but I’ve recently discovered David Ho. It’s definitely not Asian art, nor is it Christian art; but his work indicates to me that he struggles a lot with spiritual issues.

You may find this collection a bit disturbing (he has others that are not as dark). I find it fascinating…
