As things would have it, I crossed paths with the World Youth Day cross and icon rather by accident at Sydney University today. Here are a few quick photos I took of the pilgrims on my mobile.
As an evangelical Christian I would like to offer my blessings to the catholic Christians bearing witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus through their celebrations this week.
PS. Interestingly enough, the (catholic) pilgrims burst into song with, "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul," written by (pentecostal) Hillsong, about a minute after I took these photos.

I love the pictures, and find so often that music, liturgy etc is no longer held by denominational boundaries…. it’ll be the people next if we’re not careful 😉
