It is easy to forget how different the culture of first century Palastine was from our own. It’s not just the different language, the different communications technologies, the different customs, the different religions, the lower levels of urbanization, the different career prospects, the different political situation, etc. It’s that their entire way of looking at the world was different.

The other day I found myself asking: what difference does it make, sharing the gospel in a libertarian context rather than a legalistic context?

What difference do you think it makes?
