This is just a question I would like to throw out there for discussion: what double standards do you see around you? Here are two I see in the ethics of the world and the church:
Firstly, the tendency of the media and the wider world to treat Christians differently to others, as illustrated by this cartoon, all in the name of tollerance. Even if at times it is rather intollerant.
Secondly, the ongoing scandal of church leaders claiming the moral authority to single out homosexuals for special condemnation before the dust has even settled over paedophilia cover-ups within their own ranks.
So, what double standards do you see around you?
