Ninth Anniversary of Curious Christian

Today marks the ninth anniversary of me blogging here at Curious Christian. Of course, the blog hasn’t been called Curious Christian all that time, that’s merely the last of many name changes. But the location, mattstone.blogs.com, has been constant throughout.

It is kind of funny in a way. I never imagined myself as a writer. I was always into the sciences more than the humanities. But little did I know when I built my first website, for an outward looking Christian network I was involved in, that in the online world the two often overlap. Visual arts, technology, thinking and creative expression, these all feed into what I do here in my spare time.

I enjoy blogging because it give me an outlet for sharing ideas and imagining new possibilities, as well as conversing and connecting with people I may never have known otherwise. Thanks for joining me in the journey.

    Congratulations!
Many people seem to have stopped blogging, and instead of writing stuff worth reading have lapsed into jotting ephemeral inanities on Facebook. So I’m glad there are still blogs in my blogroll that are worth visiting.

Thanks, Matt! A worthwhile achievement… being consistent for so long in a world of transience, obsolescence, and short attention span deserves recognition and respect. To do that with an appreciation of art and technology from a Christian perspective whilst respecting the viewpoints of others is a truly remarkable combination! Congrats and I hope there are many more anniversaries to come 🙂
