I was trawling for Christian art pictures this evening when I came across this image of the sacred heart of Jesus over at The Orthodox Roman Catholic.
Now, is it just me or does this Jesus look like Tony Stark / Iron Man?
Oops, I’ve probably given some satirical cartoonist waaay too many ideas.
No, it’s not just you. In Fact I noticed this occurrence in several pictures and I’m glad somebody else did, too! I’ve been making a photo album called “Soul Development” on FB and I’ve seen this in pictures of Donnie Darko (the movie), The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Iron Man…which is weird because the Iron Cross is balanced all the way around, and lastly, I found a picture somebody drew that references the SOUL being in the center of the chest. Some spiritual teachings call that the HEART CHAKRA, a spinning area of energy. And Iron Man could fly, just like Superman, who has the “S” where? In the center of the chest. … Yeah I overthink things…lol
