From the words received by John, the seer, in a vision:
“Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place.” (Revelation 2:5)
When I find my heart hardening and my energy waning I find it important to get back to essentials, to the good news of Jesus and the resurrection. The love of God, which Jesus revealed, is without limits. It is only through reliance on this love that I can transcend my own limitations.
