One of the ways we are seeking to follow God and Jesus in more eco-sensitive ways is through acknowledging the land when we give thanks for meals. A simple prayer I sometimes say is this:
God
We thank you for this meal
For the land which provided it
And the hands which prepared it
In the name of Jesus
Amen
