How do ghosts fit into your worldview, my Christian friends? Do you approach them skeptically, dismissing them as unscientific? Or do you see them as possible demonic deceptions? Or, perhaps, do you allow for the possibility that some may genuinely exist?
I find the story of Saul and the Witch of Endor especially intriguing when it comes to the subject of ghosts, as nothing in the biblical account suggests the shade wasn’t Samuel himself. Still, that certainly didn’t make it safe to summon him! So, when people share ghostly encounters with me, I take their stories seriously. Yet, I wouldn’t advise seeking out spirits of the dead over seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit.
