Reflections on culture, nature, and spirituality from a Christian perspective

Christian Counseling

My wife handed me my academic record thingy from Morling College this morning. It has finally arrived. So I opened it and seems Ive earned a distinction for my first semester’s work in Foundations of Christian Counseling. Not bad for a first effort methinks. Feeling quietly chuffed. 🙂

Oh, I should mention if I haven’t already that I have taken the next counseling subject this semester, as I am looking at transferring from the Graduate Diploma of Divinity across to the Graduate Diploma in Christian Counseling.

Congratulations, Matt. Excellence is always to be celebrated, especially when it emerges from a hectic life… Now you have a standard to keep 😉

What a thought, Peggy; Hecticism — nature’s alternative to monasticism.
And congratulations Matt… Now you ARE aware, I trust, of the significance of common references to Morling College as the ‘Hotel California’? I’ve been studying there since 2000, personally. I keep telling myself, sure, I can quit anytime I like…

Hecticism, eh? Hmmm… No wonder I’m leaning toward the neo-monastic…Celtic Son has recently referred to me as Abbess of the Ether! 😎
