Reflections on culture, nature, and spirituality from a Christian perspective

Jesus-fish-yin-yang

How is this for an unusual blend of Christian and Taoist symbolism? An ichthus fish containing a yin yang! To me seems more syncretistic than critically contextual, but on a purely aesthetic level I find it kinda appealing.

There are actually many similarities as far as Eastern Orthodoxy and Coptic, Ethiopian Orthodox, etc… The book, “Christ The Eternal Dao” is an interesting book and written by a well-known eastern orthodox monk, Hiermonk Damascene. This is a podcost about the book on Ancient Faith Radio. “The Kingdom is Within” and it is also everywhere because God permeates all. 🙂 http://www.ancientfaith.com/specials/christ_the_eternal_tao
