The Churches Advertising Network (CAN) have launched their Christmas 2005 poster campaign featuring an infant Jesus in the style of Che Guevara propaganda posters. Not entirely original given that there are posters floating around of the adult Jesus in the same vein. As to their reasoning why:
A challenging face, a hero, a real revolutionary. It's Jesus who changed the world, not Che. And it's not "gentle Jesus, meek and mild" – it's modelled on the unmistakable image of Jesus with the crown of thorns.
