Ever wondered about the Sikh religion? Maybe you’ve never wondered exactly but you’re curious about different religions and open to learning more? As it happens we live next door to a family of Sikhs, whom we are friends with, so I thought it was about time I posted something on Sikhism. Here’s a connection of YouTube videos I think you might find interesting. Certainly I did.

The Sikh Way of Life An introduction to the rituals of Sikh life.
The Sikh on the Street How are Sikhs perceived in western culture? That’s the question this guy sets out to explore.
Interview with Guruka Singh about being a Sikh A Sikh teacher explains his experience.
Anand Sahib – Sikh Prayer This is a chanted prayer about the spiritual path.
Sikh itihaas This is a song about the Sikh religion apparently. Couldn’t understand a word but the visuals pretty much tell the story.
Priceless – Being a Sikh This is a short clip from a youth film festival. Didn’t find it funny personally, but then I could write a whole article on humour and identity and so I found it interesting in terms of it being a window into the identity issues of American Sikh youths.
