BTW, Tony Jones, the national coordinator of Emergent Village, contacted me the other week to advise he will be speaking at the Black Stump Festival in 2008. Interested?
I forgot to mention this with all my business but you can see he has now published this in his speaking schedule which you can check out for yourselves. Nothing else has been finalized for his Sydney visit at this stage, but let’s just say if you want to avoid the crowds and catch up with Tony Jones in a more relaxed environment, juuuuust keep a space in your diary for a Converse event around that time. Call me intuitive. And if you want to pick up a copy of Tony’s new book, “The New Christians: Dispatches from the Emergent Frontier,” just see the links below.
While I am speaking of Black Stump, if you are not already aware of it, the new venue for Black Stump in 2008 will be at Horsely Park. Say bye bye to Cataract Park in other words. I caught wind of the move before the official announcement but had to stay quiet at the time. But that’s in the open too now so put it in your diaries.

Yes, I am hoping we actually have time for some substantial conversations. I know how busy these trips can be.
