Some of you might be interested to hear I was published in Zadok Perspectives this month.
I was not going to mention this, as too be honest I was finding it difficult to face the end product, but I was encouraged by one of the guys at the Tony Jones dinner the other night who approached me and informed me that his conservative dad had read it and had actually liked it. Well, if it has helped someone to see things in a new light then it was worth it. The backstory is that I wrote it many weeks back when I was going through a very stressful time. I was approaching burnout. Last night helped me to look at things in a new perspective. You guys do encourage me you know.
Anyway, if you want to take a peek the article was called, Christ for Easternized Westerners. It was part of a special edition focussed on alternative spiritualities and included some other people I know from around the traps.
