What are Christians reading?

What are Christians reading? This list below represents the best selling Christian books for March 2014 as measured by the Christian Booksellers Association. Analysing the text it seems Sarah Young and Adam Hamilton are in much demand, with multiple entries amongst the top 50 Christian books. Having read none of their books myself, I wonder if any of you had, and if so, what you would say about them?

  1. Thankfully the CBA has never been a very good indicator of what is *worth* reading amongst Christian books. Three Duck Commander titles? I think that says everything about this list.


  2. Yes I know. “Happy, Happy, Happy” and “How to Be Rich” are a turn off as well. It says some uncomfortable things about the state of Christianity in the English speaking world. It says something more that when, on the odd occasion I visit a Christian bookstore, I tend to look for the deep dark corners, far away from the popular books, for the quality books.
