The IDers [Intelligent Design advocates] want science to serve the evangelical mission in much the way that evangelicals have treated the arts. For most evangelicals, a “Christian artist” is a person that produces evangelical tracts, rather than one that produces honest art that reflects his Christian worldview. This makes for science with the quality of the typical kitsch you can find in your local Christian bookstore.
ID [Intelligent Design movement] needs to understand a theological concept known as concursus. Concursus is the doctrine that God in his Providence acts through and with second causes.
