Churches have long been flocking to hear secular business leaders speak on marketing, best-practice, leadership, etc. Warren is a leader in his field, so why not?

Wow. What’s the point about growing a church if church growth is the same as synagogue growth?

Wow. What’s the point of church growth if it, in essence, is the same thing as synagogue growth? Growth for growth’s sake? Doesn’t make sense to me.

I sniff a story behind this story however. As two of the participants, Warren and the Sojourners dude were recently on Speaking of Faith I am wondering, what wasn’t reported in this article? There are some conspiquous holes, such as as Warren’s take on the whole thing.
