Mystery Visitors

Hmmm, I am wondering if I got listed in a newspaper or something. Got 919 hits yesterday from people all searching “mattstone.blogs.com”. My hits normally come from direct links or keyword searches and not in that volume. Smells like non-electronic media crossover. Either that or one truly obsessive-compulsive fan. Anyone out there care to enlighten me?

Ahh, crossover of a different sort. Well, welcome to Glocal Christianity and feel free to ask questions about art, Christianity, other religions, blogging, whatever takes your fancy. I’ll help where I can and might even have an extra picture or three depending on the interest area.
If you are doing research I recommend checking out my archives at http://mattstone.blogs.com/journeysinbetween where you’ll find 1330 posts worth of old material compared to the 44 posts of new material here so far. I have only recently done a revamp you see 🙂
Oh, and what country are you all from by the way? No need for anything too specific, keep it general, just curious about which end of the world has taken an interest.

Yeah, I’m curious too. You’re names all sound very familiar… especially Emma Shinnie….

Oh Isaiah, if there is a personal connection be careful not disclose anything more specific out in the open, no school names or anything like that. I am conscious of keeping this a safe space and prefer to keep it reasonably anonymous with minors.

You have the same name (Matt Stone) as one of the South Park (Comedy Central) creaTORs.

Isaiah, the six degrees of separation can be considerably shorter some times.

Tor, yes I am aware of that, I am trying to bump him off pole position on Google. Maybe I should mention Trey Parker, Chef, Kenny, Mr Hankie and some other Southpark characters at this point to confuse the search engine rankings (laughs wickedly).

My blog is called TMI for “too much information” but most of the search hits have to do with tmi’s as in strokes.

Part of my motivation for renaming the blog was desire for higher quality traffic, that is, while confused Southpark fans may help my Google rankings they rarely convert into conversation participants so they are not really what I am after.
So, while my traffic is down significantly as a consequence of the name change I am not bothered as I would rather draw in one extra person genuinely seeking to engage than ten extra who stumbled here by mistake.
