Exploring life, art, spirituality, and the way of Jesus
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)
Now, what would it imply if we recognised some of the dominating and disempowering patterns of this world operating in the life of the church?

Yes what if the patterns one sees applying to dysfunctional alcoholic fam were widely understood and held up for comparison to addiction to cult like christian churches? Denial, bargaining, anger, active grief, support strategies, 12 step recovery programs involving universal inclusion of all humans I imagine.
