How would you share the love of Jesus with an astrologer?
I was reading an article by Marcia Montenegro called, The Piscean Avatar: The Jesus of Astrology. Marcia knows her stuff, she is a former professional astrologer after all, but I think there are problems with responses like this. It’s too rationalist, it’s too debunking orientated, it assumes too much in terms of acceptance of Biblical authority. It obviously works for her, but I wonder how many other astrologers would say, so what!
But it is not enough to critique, or to offer nothing more than an embodied apologetic. I think its important to explore the stories of astrologers. What are they actually seeking? What can Christians offer in terms of guidance teaching? That’s where I think we need to explore this more.

You know, I’ve never read That Hideous Strength. Another book for the ‘to do’ list.
